Our wild venison is responsibly sourced from across Australia and because they’re not farmed, the deer have been able to graze on natural vegetation and grasslands freely.  It means that your pets can enjoy natural, nutritious, healthy and protein-rich meat free from artificial additives.  After all, every pet deserves the best.

Feeding

Our venison diced can be fed to your pet raw or cooked to suit your pet’s needs. It's important to feed a wide variety of ingredients to your doggos. Try adding veggies, rice, oats, egg, sardines, fruit or offal. 

Ensure clean fresh water is always available for your pet.  Feed as recommended by your pet health specialist.  Suitable for dogs and cats.

Storage

Products are packed fresh meat frozen for delivery. Thaw what you need immediately and store the rest in your freezer for up to 3 months. Keep frozen at -18 degrees. Thaw in refrigerator. Once thawed, use within 3 days. Once opened, product must be used within 24 hours.

What type of meat is wild venison? I would prefer kangaroo.

Great product.

I’m a regular customer and was surprised to see this order was frozen solid. Once thawed the diced venison was eaten within seconds by my two Brittany’s.
Perhaps it was the courier company who froze the product as it had a long used by date.

Seems like great quality venison. My dog loves it. Comes frozen in a cool bag with ice bricks within a thick cardboard box which was great, and you get a text the day before with a 2 hour delivery window - very handy. I will buy again

Product is great, but.....

Wild Oz Venison mince was loved by my fur babies BUT unfortunately the frozen venison started to thaw by delivery so had to feed that day.
Was far better when fresh produce was fresh and not frozen.

I work from home. I brought my order inside within 10 minutes of delivery. My order didn't feel cool enough. I placed my bulk order straight into our freezer. Took out one pack of the venison the night before use. It didn't smell great. This is the first time using venison. When I cooked it for my dog it didn't look fresh and had a smell of chemicals. It could be how venison smells. The diced kangaroo used a few days later did smell better. Yet I didn't feel it was fresh due to the colour. Once we finish our bulk diced kangaroo meat we will revert to using human grade kangaroo meat for our dog from our supermarket. Supermarket meat looks fresher and doesn't look so dark as the delivered kangaroo meat.

How long can the delivery be left outside for?

Wild Oz use a network of refrigerated courier services, ensuring that your order is delivered to the highest quality. From refrigerated packing facilities to chilled transport couriers, your order is stored in a cool climate right until delivered to your doorstep. All orders remain in complete cold chain from our door to yours.

Our eco-friendly, recyclable boxes are specifically engineered to trap cold air inside, allowing our boxes to be left at the doorstep for up to 5 hours.

Each order is also packed with a minimum of two ice packs, to further ensure the highest quality is delivered.

Do you have a returns policy?

If a product is found to be defective or damaged during shipping we will review and will offer a refund for the damaged product.

Please inspect your order upon delivery and contact Wild Oz immediately if an item is missing, damaged or if you received the wrong item, a member of the Wild Oz customer service team will assist you as soon as they can.
