A friend with 2 tiny poodles gifted me a packet of the brisket. I have a greyhound and 2 tiny poodles of my own. Mine all adored the brisket. So, I ordered the “starter package”. Mine loved it but Daphne had just a bit of an upset stomach with the new diet. I phased the roo in gradually, mixing it with chicken breast. All is well now. And we have happily transitioned to a roo mince diet, which while it is meat (and I try to be vegetarian), is better ethically and nutritionally than factory-farmed meat.
I work from home. I brought my order inside within 10 minutes of delivery. My order didn't feel cool enough. I placed my bulk order straight into our freezer. Took out one pack of the venison the night before use. It didn't smell great. This is the first time using venison. When I cooked it for my dog it didn't look fresh and had a smell of chemicals. It could be how venison smells. The diced kangaroo used a few days later did smell better. Yet I didn't feel it was fresh due to the colour. Once we finish our bulk diced kangaroo meat we will revert to using human grade kangaroo meat for our dog from our supermarket. Supermarket meat looks fresher and doesn't look so dark as the delivered kangaroo meat.
This is genuinely a piece of roo cut up into squares. You'd almost be forgiven for thinking it is human food.
Unfortunately, the move to frozen deliveries no longer meets our needs so we won't be buying any more.
My cat wouldn’t eat chicken bones, but he would eat this rabbit bones. So happy with the purchase
Floyd adores them you really have created a monster thank you very much.
I was so surprised at how good this looked. If you didn't know it was for a dog, you would have thought it is for human consumption. It really is cut up cubes of venison meat.
